Q: How can I reach Hallstatt by public transport?
A: You can take the train to Hallstatt Bahnhof, from there you will have to take short ferry ride (4€ in Cash
only) to the village. The apartments are about 300 m from the ferry station.
The nearest bus stop, Hallstatt Nord, is also 300 m away.
Q: Where can I park my car?
A: We would recommend to park at the Parking Lot P1 (Salinenplatz 4). It’s the only car park in
Hallstatt that offers a shuttle service to the centre of Hallstatt (from 8:30 to 19:00).
Q: Can we book a parking spot in the P1 park and are we guaranteed a spot?
A: It is not reserve a parking spot in P1 in advance. Please show the parking guard your booking confirmation at P1, then you will get the next available space. They will always find parking spaces for guests who stay overnight.
Q: What is the check-in procedure?
A: At our apartment you will either be checked in by someone in person, or you will be able to self check-in with a lock-box. In case of a self check-in the code of
the lock-box safe will be sent to you before check-in.
There will be someone available to contact at all times. Usually it is best to send us a message on WhatsApp!
Q: Does each apartment have a private bathroom?
A: We can confirm that all our apartments have a private bathroom.
Q: Do you have lift ? Wheelchair friendly?
A: We do not have an elevator. There is one flight of stairs to the apartment - it is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
Q: Where is Haus Franziska located in Hallstatt?
A: Haus Franziska is located on Gosaumühlstraße 71, just 300 meters from the historic centre of Hallstatt and overlooking beautiful Lake Hallstatt.
